About Kevin's Travel
About Kevin’s Travel
Meet Kevin: Your Local Travel Advisor with Global Reach
Kevin’s Travel is an independent, full-service travel agency based in Norfolk, Nebraska, serving travelers across the United States. I’m Kevin, the owner and travel advisor behind the name. My job is simple: help you turn your limited vacation time into memorable, well-planned trips that feel organized, relaxing, and genuinely “you.”
I combine small-town Nebraska roots with big-agency access through my partnerships with Gateway Travel and Travel Leaders Network. That means you get the best of both worlds:
- A real person who knows your story, your preferences, and your travel style
- Access to major cruise lines, all-inclusive resorts, tour companies, and specialty partners around the world
From first-time Disney trips and Alaska cruises to corporate retreats and multi-generational family vacations, I handle the details so you can focus on the experience—not the logistics.
What Kevin’s Travel Specializes In
While I can help with a wide range of destinations and styles, I’m especially focused on:
- Disney & Family Vacations
Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani in Hawaii—as well as family-friendly all-inclusive resorts. I help you navigate tickets, park reservations, Genie+ and Lightning Lane, dining, and realistic daily plans so your trip feels magical instead of overwhelming. - Ocean & River Cruises (Including First-Time Cruisers)
Using my Cruise Personality Quiz and experience with more than a dozen cruise lines, I match you with the right ship, itinerary, and cabin type. I walk you through how cruising works, what’s included what to pack, and how to avoid common first-timer mistakes. - Alaska & Adventure Travel
Alaska cruises, rail journeys, and land extensions are a major focus. I help you choose the right route, time of year, and combination of cruise and land options so you get the scenery, wildlife, and experiences you’re hoping for—without overpacking your schedule. - Groups, Corporate Retreats & Incentive Travel
From corporate retreats and incentive trips to family reunions, sports teams, and school groups, I coordinate the moving pieces: rooming lists, deadlines, payments, transfers, meeting space, group dining, and excursions. Your group gets a professional, organized experience; you don’t have to be the “unpaid travel planner” for everyone.
I don’t book flight-only or simple hotel-only stays. Instead, I focus on complete vacation packages—cruises, resorts, tours, and group trips—where I can add real value, support, and protection to the entire experience.
The PRIDE Behind Kevin’s Travel
Kevin’s Travel is built on five core values, summarized as PRIDE:
- P – Personalization Excellence
No two travelers are the same. I take time to understand your budget, schedule, comfort level, and travel style. Then I narrow down the noise and present options that actually fit you, not just what’s on sale this week. - R – Reliability & Trust
You should always know what’s happening with your trip. I’m transparent about pricing, deadlines, and what’s included. If something changes, I tell you directly and help you understand your options. - I – Innovation & Growth
Travel is constantly changing—new rules, new ships, new destinations. I invest in ongoing training, supplier relationships, and technology so you benefit from up-to-date information and smarter planning tools. - D – Dedication to Quality
I treat your vacation time like it’s my own. I’m careful about which suppliers I work with, I double-check details, and I build in realistic pacing so your trip feels enjoyable, not like a race. - E – Expertise & Connection
I leverage national partnerships, industry certifications, and real-world experience to guide you—but I also stay approachable and human. You’re never just a booking number in a system.
How the Planning Process Works
I want you to feel confident from the first conversation to the final goodbye. Here’s what working with Kevin’s Travel typically looks like:
- Discovery Call (20–30 Minutes)
We talk about your dates, budget, destination ideas, travel style, and any must-haves or concerns. This can be by phone, video, or in some cases email if that’s easier for you. - Research & Custom Proposal
Based on our conversation, I research options and prepare a custom proposal—usually 1–3 carefully selected packages. I’ll explain the pros and cons of each, what’s included, and what trade-offs you’re making (for example, cost vs. convenience, or ship size vs. onboard atmosphere). - Refinement & Approval
You review the proposal, ask questions, and we adjust as needed. Once you’re comfortable with the plan, you approve the final option. - Booking & Payments
I handle the bookings, coordinate with suppliers, and walk you through deposits, payment schedules, and travel insurance options. You’ll know exactly when payments are due and what to expect. - Pre-Departure Support
As your trip approaches, I provide reminders, packing tips, and important updates. For more complex trips (like Alaska, Disney, or groups), I’ll help you think through timing, reservations, and daily pacing so you’re not scrambling at the last minute. - Support During Travel
If something goes wrong—flight delays, weather issues, medical situations, or a problem with your hotel or cruise—you’re not alone. You can reach out to me, and I’ll work with our partners and your travel insurance provider (if purchased) to explore solutions and next steps. - Post-Trip Follow-Up
After you return, I check in to hear how everything went, what you loved, and what we might adjust next time. Your feedback helps shape future recommendations and trips.
Why Work with a Travel Advisor Instead of Booking Everything Online?
Online booking sites are great at showing you a million options. They’re not great at telling you which two or three actually fit your family, your priorities, and your budget.
When you work with Kevin’s Travel, you get:
- Clarity instead of overwhelming – I filter the noise and present curated options.
- Realistic expectations – Honest conversations about what’s included what costs extra, and what the experience is really like.
- Protection & advocacy – If something changes or goes wrong, you have a human being in your corner.
- Time savings – You don’t have to spend hours comparing ships, resorts, or itineraries and reading conflicting reviews.
- A relationship, not a transaction – I get to know your preferences over time, so each trip becomes easier and more tailored.
In many cases, my services are paid by the travel suppliers (cruise lines, resorts, tour operators), not by you. For highly customized or complex itineraries—like multi-destination trips, large groups, or detailed Alaska/adventure plans—I may charge a planning fee, which I always explain upfront before we begin.
Who Kevin’s Travel Is a Great Fit For
Kevin’s Travel is especially well-suited for:
- Busy families who want a Disney, cruise, or beach vacation that’s fun but not exhausting
- First-time cruisers who want someone to walk them through how cruising works, step by step
- Alaska and adventure travelers who want scenery, wildlife, and unique experiences without overcomplicating the logistics
- Corporate groups and organizations planning retreats, incentive trips, or client events that need to feel professional and well-organized
- Multi-generational families and reunions where different ages, budgets, and activity levels all need to be considered
If you value clear communication, realistic expectations, and having a knowledgeable partner in your corner, we’ll work well together.
A Note on Compliance and Partnerships
Kevin’s Travel operates as an independent agency in partnership with Gateway Travel and Travel Leaders Network, giving you access to a wide network of trusted suppliers, including:
- Major cruise lines (Disney Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity, Viking, Holland America, MSC, and more)
- All-inclusive resorts and hotel brands (including Sandals, Beaches, Barceló, and others)
- Tour operators, rail providers, and travel insurance partners
For Disney vacations, I market under the approved branding of Gateway to Magic Travel through my host agency. I follow all supplier and host-agency guidelines regarding branding, advertising, and disclosures, so your trip is booked correctly and in compliance with industry standards.
My Promise to You
When you trust Kevin’s Travel with your vacation time and budget, I commit to:
- Listening first, recommending second
- Being transparent about pricing, policies, and trade-offs
- Treating your trip with the same care I would give my own
- Staying available for questions before, during, and after your travel
- Continuously learning and improving so each trip is better than the last
Your time off is limited. Your memories are priceless. My role is to protect both.

Our Mission
Kevin’s Travel – Mission Statement
At Kevin’s Travel, my mission is to transform travel dreams into organized, stress-free, and deeply personal experiences for every client I serve. I believe your vacation time is one of your most valuable assets—and it deserves the same level of planning, protection, and professionalism that you’d expect from any major life decision.
I combine local Nebraska roots with global industry partnerships to design trips that feel custom-built for you: from first-time Disney vacations and Alaska cruises to multi-generational family reunions, corporate retreats, and bucket-list adventures. Every itinerary is crafted to balance excitement with realism, value with comfort, and inspiration with clear, honest expectations.
This mission is guided by my core values, summarized as PRIDE:
P – Personalization Excellence
I exist to provide travel planning that feels tailored, not templated.
- I take the time to understand your story, your travel style, your budget, and your non-negotiables.
- I narrow down the overwhelming number of options into a small set of curated, realistic choices.
- I design itineraries that match who you are—whether that’s a first-time Disney family, a nervous first-time cruiser, an Alaska adventure seeker, or a company planning a professional, on-brand retreat.
Every recommendation is intentional, and every trip is built around you, not around what’s easiest to sell.
R – Reliability & Trust
My mission is to be a steady, reliable partner before, during, and after your trip.
- You will always know what happens next in the planning process, from discovery call to final payment.
- I communicate clearly about pricing, deadlines, inclusions, and limitations—no hidden surprises, no fine-print “gotchas” left unexplained.
- When something changes—a schedule adjustment, a policy update, or a weather issue—I tell you directly and help you understand your options.
Trust is earned through consistency, transparency, and follow-through, and that is how I choose to run Kevin’s Travel every day.
I – Innovation & Growth
Travel is constantly evolving, and my mission is to evolve with it so you don’t have to.
- I invest in ongoing training, certifications, and supplier relationships to stay current on ships, resorts, destinations, and policies.
- I use modern tools—CRMs, digital documents, structured checklists, and automated reminders—to keep your trip organized and on track.
- I continuously refine my processes for Disney, cruises, Alaska, and group travel so each new client benefits from everything I’ve learned from the last.
Innovation, for me, isn’t about being flashy; it’s about making your experience smoother, clearer, and more dependable.
D – Dedication to Quality
My mission is to treat every trip as if it were my own vacation.
- I am selective about the suppliers and partners I work with, prioritizing quality, safety, and reliability.
- I pay attention to pacing, logistics, and practical details so your itinerary feels enjoyable, not exhausting.
- I double-check bookings, deadlines, and documentation, and I encourage travel insurance and smart planning so you’re protected when it matters most.
Quality at Kevin’s Travel means more than “nice hotels” or “fancy ships.” It means making sure the entire experience—from planning to return—is thoughtful, organized, and worthy of your time and money.
E – Expertise & Connection
My mission is to combine professional expertise with genuine human connection.
- I leverage my partnerships with Gateway Travel and Travel Leaders Network to give you access to major cruise lines, all-inclusive resorts, tour operators, and specialty travel brands.
- I specialize in Disney vacations, ocean and river cruises, Alaska and adventure travel, and group/corporate trips, so you benefit from depth of knowledge—not just surface-level familiarity.
- I build long-term relationships with clients, learning your preferences over time so each trip becomes easier, more tailored, and more meaningful.
Expertise is not just about knowing destinations—it’s about knowing you, and using that knowledge to guide you with honesty and care.
What This Mission Means for You
When you choose Kevin’s Travel, you’re not just booking a trip; you’re partnering with a professional whose mission is to:
- Protect your time, budget, and peace of mind
- Replace confusion and overwhelm with clarity and confidence
- Stand beside you when plans change or challenges arise
- Turn “someday we should go…” into a concrete, well-planned reality
Whether you’re planning a once-in-a-lifetime Alaska cruise, a first Disney trip with kids, a corporate retreat, or a simple family getaway that finally feels easy, my mission is to make sure you feel supported, informed, and genuinely excited every step of the way.
